Stevenage Life

Stevenage Is a New Town Situated on The A1M between Welwyn Garden City and Hitchin . The Town was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second in 1959, although the roots of the settlement date back as far as Saxon times in 7AD when it was known as Stilth Ac, or Strong Oak. In 1973, a new Railway Station was opened and  in the 2009/2010 season Stevenage Borough Football Club were promoted to the Football League.
